TAGS
Talented & Gifted in Sport (TAGS) is a initiative with the aim of engaging children in sport and physical activity, unearthing new talent and supporting them to maximise their potential. TAGS aims to deliver a range of activities to children and young people providing an extensive programme of sports and other activities. We work alongside schools, Colleges, local organisations, School Games Organisers, National Governing Bodies, Local Authorities and nurseries to identify pupils who may benefit from our provision. TAGS provides opportunities at every stage of a child's development ensuring sessions are FUN, inclusive, differentiated, challenging and progressive to bring out the best of their ability. TAGS have been running summer activity camps for many years, across Yorkshire and try to keep our costs to parents as low as possible. We support all young people, ensure they are all engaged, strengths and areas for development are identified through the personal athlete profiles and ensure that no matter what the socio-economic status of the family we believe no child misses out. Our motto is "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to use it."
