About your mentor

Kim McCabe, Rites for Girls CIC

Changing the world - one girl at a time.

Kim McCabe, Rites for Girls CIC

Thirty years ago a woman taught me how to listen to my body and enjoy my monthly cycle and I've been sharing this with girls ever since. I founded Rites for Girls in 2011 where we run year-long Girls Journeying Together groups for small groups of preteen girls guiding them into their teens. The girls have taught me what they need to know to grow up strong and sure. My book 'From Daughter to Woman, parenting girls safely through their teens' has a chapter for mothers to help them guide their daughters as they begin their monthly cycle. This workshop takes the story a bit deeper...
