A journey starts with one single step
Changing The Future was founded as a response to the real life lived experiences of the founder and managing director. The company is based upon supporting young people through their journey; raising aspirations and specialising in services for individuals who have experienced difficulties or trauma within their life. By offering specialist training to professionals members of the community offering alternative perspectives through the eyes of our youth mentors. Changing The Future offers a safe place; early help support and advocacy for individuals to be able to develop the mechanisms and skills needed in order to overcome personal difficulties and barriers.
Learning aims
Aim 1
To develop young people’s confidence, independence, and social skills through group travel, teamwork, and shared experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Aim 2
To encourage cultural awareness and outdoor learning by exploring famous London landmarks, historical sites, and public spaces
Aim 3
To promote positive wellbeing, friendship, and communication skills through fun social activities, new experiences, and active participation throughout the trip.
