What we'll do
For the 15 football days, children (aged 5-14) will be active, engage in fun warm-up activities, develop their football skills, play mini-matches and large sided football games. They will learn about nutrition & healthy lifestyles in a lunchtime activity each day. We will have other break-out activities such as board games and arts & crafts. The 1 day out will be a trip to Activity for All (Upton), where the children will play football, dodgeball, team-building, climbing and high-ropes. We will also help develop the children's social and emotional skills, teamwork and communication. Our camp values are Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. Please be aware HAF funded places are for children that are BOTH SEND and on benefits-related Free School Meals. 10 Paid places are available for £25 per day for non SEND with FSM children.

About your mentor
CCB Mental Health (registered as Community Capacity Builders CIO)
Confident, Competent, Better
CCB Mental Health (Registered as Community Capacity Builders CIO) is a non-profit organisation formed in 2019 to assist in the support of disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and adults living in the Liverpool City Region. This includes those suffering from mental and/or physical illness, through our provision of a range of mental health therapy, physical activities and financial education activities. We are delivering services that are not readily available through statutory authorities, or affordable through private provision. Our outcomes are to improve, facilitate and empower personal growth and improve life-chances through the delivery of our structured programmes. We have decades of combined experience of working with charities/not-for-profit organisations ranging from children/young people, mental-health and post-cancer patient care. Since we were formed nearly 7 years ago, we have helped improve the health, well-being and quality of life of thousands of people locally. Since 2021 we have delivered inclusive football activity camps at Christmas, Easter and Summer for hundreds of local children and young people.
Lunch Menu & Snacks
The children will have a mid-morning break and we will provide some bottled water and fresh fruit. At lunchtime we will have a choice of healthy nutritious sandwiches/rolls with a range of fillings, a piece of fruit and bottle of still water. We will also have some simple hot food options too courtesy of Bistro @ Willow Bank. If children have sensory issues with food, then they can opt to bring their own packed lunch (please let us know this via email). All children are encouraged to bring their own labelled bottle of water each day.
