What we'll do
We will welcome you in, show you around if it’s your first time, and offer you a voucher for a hot drink on us. You can explore the sensory room, outdoor play areas, and the play café with role-play corners and soft play. There is free parking and the space sits within the beautiful grounds of Chestnut Meadow Country Park. In winter, Glow Baby has a maximum safe capacity of 25 children and their families across the space at any time. To keep everyone safe, comfortable and able to plan ahead: 15 spaces are bookable through this page, and 10 spaces remain available as on-the-day drop-ins. This system helps families who need certainty to know they definitely have a space, while still protecting access for families who cannot book or do not use booking systems. We know this may mean some families are disappointed if the session becomes full. We are working on increasing the regularity of all our sessions because we know how popular and needed they are. We are no longer able to offer a completely free café. Our funding was very limited, and the number of families attending has grown far beyond what we initially budgeted for. Each adult will still receive one free hot drink on us. This session is for families with children who are neurodivergent, disabled, and or have high support needs — families who need community, connection and a space where everyone can be together comfortably. Our Pop Up Spaces are low-demand and pressure-free. You can arrive whenever works for you, stay as long as you like, and leave when you need to. You supervise your children and we are here to support you. Come as you are. Always.

About your mentor
Come As You Are (CAYA)
Creating Spaces and Support For Families
Our Mission Come As You Are CIC exists to advance inclusion and accessibility for neurodivergent, disabled, and SEN children and their families. We create safe, supportive environments — alongside training, advocacy, and community-led programmes — where families can connect, learn, and thrive together. Our mission is simple: to make belonging the baseline. From our pop-up spaces and sensory-friendly projects to our workshops and professional training, every part of our work is designed to remove barriers and build community. Come As You Are CIC is currently finalising the establishment of The CAYA Foundation (CIO) — a charitable arm that will sit alongside the CIC to secure long-term sustainability and protect our inclusive work for future generations. Our Values Inclusion and Accessibility We design with accessibility in mind from the start — ensuring that every child, family, and professional can take part in their own way. Safety and Connection Our spaces and sessions prioritise comfort, calm, and care — offering a safe place to rest, play, and connect without judgement. Reducing Isolation We tackle social isolation by improving access to public spaces, opportunities, and peer support across the community. Advocacy and Practical Tools We support families with information, confidence, and practical tools — helping them to navigate systems and create change together. Co-production We champion lived experience as expertise. Families and professionals co-design the spaces, services, and training that shape inclusion locally. Our Aims We exist to: Advance inclusion and accessibility for neurodivergent, disabled, and SEN children and their families. Provide safe, supportive environments for play, connection, and community-led activity. Relieve isolation and exclusion by improving access to public spaces, services, and opportunities. Support families through peer connection, advocacy, and practical tools. Champion co-production — ensuring that those with lived experience shape the spaces and services that affect them.
