A summary
We will be offering a range of activities on the day for children aged 5 – 16. We will be starting at 8.30 prompt. On each day children will be split into 4 groups. They will rotate round 4 activities which may include cooking, arts and crafts, sport, bikeability and an easter egg hunt supported by the staff of Carterton Community College. Children staying just for the morning will be picked up for 12.30. In the afternoon the plan will be an off site activity which will be a trip to Cineworld in Witney.

Carterton Community College
To support young people in the community
Carterton Community College host the holiday club during the longer half term holidays. We generally hold these at Christmas, Easter and Summer. Over Christmas, Easter and Summer, we run this for 2-3 days. We have children ranging from 5-16 from the local primary and secondary schools. We have members of CCC staff who support the programme and run the activities. The staff are qualified teachers and support staff and all hold valid DBS certificates, are all first aid trained and have all completed Safeguarding courses. We also have outside agencies come in to facilitate some activities. Recently we have had Bjkeability, Terry Price and his scooter and also RAF Brize Norton. We aim to provide a range of activities during the programme such as team building, trampolining, cooking, STEM, pottery and many more. If a child needs 1-1 support, parents must state this on their form. We are then able to allocate a team member to the child for the duration of the holiday club.
