Carterton Community Holiday Club (10-16)

Carterton Community College host the holiday club during the longer half term holidays. We generally hold these at Christmas, Easter and Summer. Over Easter, Summer and Christmas we run this for 2-3 days. We have children ranging from 5-16 from the local primary and secondary schools. We have members of CCC staff who support the programme and run the activities. The staff are qualified teachers and support staff and all hold valid DBS certificates, are all first aid trained and have all completed Safeguarding courses. We also have outside agencies come in to facilitate some activities. Recently we have had Bikeability, Terry Price and his scooter and also RAF Brize Norton. We aim to provide a range of activities during the programme such as team building, trampolining, cooking, STEM and many more. If a child needs 1-1 support, parents must state this on their form. We are then able to allocate a team member to the child for the duration of the holiday club.
