CAPA’s Coding Club for SEND (16+) Step into the world of technology with CAPA’s welcoming and inclusive Coding Club designed specifically for SEND young people aged 16 and over. Whether you're completely new to coding or have tried it before, this club offers a supportive and relaxed space to explore digital skills at your own pace. Each week, participants work on hands-on activities using Python programming, interactive websites, and HTML and CSS to build simple websites and games. Our sessions are designed to be fun, accessible, and confidence-boosting, with experienced, friendly tutors who understand and respond to individual needs. You’ll get to: Build simple games step by step Create and personalise your own web pages Learn problem-solving skills through real-world projects Work with others and celebrate your progress together Sessions are small to make sure everyone gets the help they need. We focus on building digital skills, boosting confidence, and encouraging social interaction in a safe and engaging environment. Whether you dream of working with computers in the future or just want to try something new and exciting, CAPA’s Coding Club is the perfect place to start.

At Computing and Programming Academy (CAPA), our mission is to remove barriers to education by providing accessible, high-quality online tuition and digital skills training for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. We aim to empower learners with the academic foundations, confidence, and digital literacy they need to thrive in school, work, and life.
Session Time and Day
The Coding Club for SEND (ages 16+) runs every Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Below are the confirmed session dates and school holiday breaks: Upcoming Coding Club Sessions: April 2025: 28th May 2025: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th June 2025: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th July 2025: 7th, 14th, 21st (last session before summer break) September 2025: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th October 2025: 6th, 13th (no session on 20th – half-term break), 27th November 2025: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th December 2025: 1st, 8th (last session before winter break) January 2026: 12th, 19th, 26th February 2026: 2nd, 9th, 16th No Sessions On: October 20, 2025 – Half-term school holiday December 15, 22, 29, 2025 – Winter holiday break January 5, 2026 – School holidays resume the following week

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please do so at least two weeks before the session start date so we can offer the space to someone else, as places are limited. A full refund will be issued for any sessions cancelled.

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
