When you arrive
Please note, all children must be accompanied by an adult (adults eat too!) We'll start by stripping willow sticks to cook our campfire bread and preparing the dough to wrap around the stick. We'll cook tasty treats such as popcorn and marshmallows on the campfire and learn 'survival' fire lighting skills. We'll then play the 'meet a tree' blindfold game and complete the wild food trail challenge, before heading back to the fire for a delicious campfire lunch. We're really lucky at MESC to have a huge canopy shelter in the woods, so we can continue cooking, even during periods of wet weather. Come and join us for more wildlife themed, fun packed activities throughout the holidays: Wednesday 29th July (am & pm) - Pond explorers & make an amazing dragonfly Wednesday 5th August (am & pm) - Den building in the woods and making bows & arrows. Monday 17th August (am & pm) - Mini-beast Safari & make a creeping caterpillar. Wednesday 19th August (am & pm) - Nature's paints and decorate a wood slice 'cookie'.
