What we'll do

Join Your Local Youth Clubs at BYC on Wednesdays & Thursdays! NB. This listing is for Wednesday Sports and Thursday Senior Youth Club. Book dates: Block 1 for Wednesdays and Block 2 for Thursdays. Looking for a fun way to spend your free time? Come hang out at your local youth club, a space created by you and for you! Open to young people in secondary school (Year 7 to 18 years old), this club is all about having a great time, making friends, and doing what you enjoy — with support from our awesome Youth Network team of leaders. Here's what you can do: Arts & Crafts: Get creative and explore your artistic side with a variety of art projects. Games: Challenge friends to a game of chess, try out different board games, or bring your own favourite. Sports: Practice your sports skills on the refurbished 5-aside football and basketball pitch — perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike! Music & Chill: Enjoy some good tunes, relax, and catch up with friends. Plus, we've got snacks and drinks covered for you! Come shape the activities, make new memories, and have a blast. ENTRY: FREE SESSION All staff hold Enhanced DBS checks, are trained First Aiders, and receive regular Safeguarding training. Many are certified in food hygiene. We hold the MKCC Youth Provision Safe Practice Mark.

Youth Network

Building resilience in young people

Youth Network, a project of Bletchley Youth Centre, is dedicated to empowering young people to build a better future for themselves and their community. We offer leisure time youth clubs, activities and trips which build self-confidence, resilience and motivate young people to try out new things. All staff hold Enhanced DBS checks, are trained First Aiders, and receive regular Safeguarding training. Where appropriate, staff are certified in food hygiene.

I began my journey as a youth worker with Milton Keynes Council in 2005, dedicating over a decade to supporting and empowering young people. In 2016, I was thrilled to join the team at Youth Network, continuing my commitment to nurturing the growth and potential of young people. Youth work is more than a job for me—it’s a calling rooted in empathy and a deep commitment to guiding young people through the transitions from childhood to adolescence and into young adulthood. I currently work with York House and Broughton Youth Clubs, creating inclusive spaces where young people feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their potential.

As a lifelong Bletchley resident, I’ve been actively involved in the local sports community. After years attending the community football sessions, I became a youth leader, combining my passion for football with mentoring. With coaching experience, I enjoy passing on skills to the next generation while empowering young people to take ownership of their development and projects. I run Wednesday basketball sessions at Leon, as well as other youth club sports across Bletchley and Milton Keynes. While my focus in on promoting sports more broadly, football remains my greatest passion.

I have been dedicated to supporting young people in Milton Keynes since 2008. My journey began with MK Youth Service, and in 2013, I joined Youth Network, which is now a project under Bletchley Youth Centre. My passion for youth work is rooted in a deep empathy for young people. I find immense joy in witnessing their growth and development as they navigate their journey to adulthood. Currently, I contribute across all Youth Network provisions in Milton Keynes, striving to make a positive and lasting impact on their lives.

As the Senior Youth Work Manager of the Youth Network project, I oversee all of the clubs and projects that support the development, well-being, and empowerment of young people. With a focus on creating inclusive opportunities, I lead a team committed to fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful connections within the community. My work is driven by a passion for making a lasting impact in the lives of local youth.

I am deeply passionate about empowering young people to seize every opportunity available to them. As a football coach, an FA Inclusions Officer, I bring the values of teamwork, discipline, and motivation into my work at youth clubs, fostering personal growth and confidence in the next generation. I work across many of the Youth Network provisions in Milton Keynes.
