What we'll do
Brighton Table Tennis Club and other grassroots clubs will be delivering a series of fun activities at Moulsecoomb Primary School and our Moulsecoomb venue for three weeks in the summer holidays. There will be a carousel of sports including table tennis, football, gymnastics and cycling for children and young people aged 6 to 16 who receive benefits-related Free School Meals. Everyone gets to try all of the activities. This camp is free and available only to children and young people who receive benefits-related Free School Meals. Week 1: Mon 3rd - Fri 7th August Week 2: Mon 17th - Fri 21st August Week 3: Mon 24th - Fri 28th August HAF-eligible Children with SEND and asylum seekers are welcome at this camp. Many of our staff are former teachers and are skilled and experience working with SEND children and those with complex needs. We recruit additional staff for these Moulsecoomb sessions, all teachers or teaching assistants so we have a high ratio of skilled staff to children. If a child does need time out, we have staff in each session who can sit with them and do quiet activities if appropriate. We do not have the levels of staff however to provide one to one care throughout the day to any individuals. However, parents/carer or the child’s PA are all welcome to attend to support. We believe we have established a good reputation for our sessions and all activities are fully inclusive. Hot food will be provided by Sussex Surplus at 12:30pm. Places are subject to availability. It is likely that this will be over subscribed. We will confirm as soon as we are able to that your child has a space and for which days. If your child cannot attend please let us know as soon as possible, and before 9am on the day. If you book a place for your child and don’t let us know in advance that they can’t attend, any future booking requests will not be prioritised. We appreciate there are many reasons why families might not be able to attend on the day, but please do keep us informed at your earliest convenience.

HAF Conditions
A few terms & conditions from Brighton & Hove City Council: • Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals. • Limits on bookings – Over Summer, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 16 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit. Bookings can be managed by the Booker by logging into Eequ and reviewing their Schedule.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
