What we'll do
Benefits of a “Free Choice Day” at a holiday club (outdoor play, crafts, bracelet making, etc.) A free choice day is when children can choose from different activities such as outdoor play, crafts, bracelet making, games, and creative stations. It supports learning through independence and fun. ? 1. Independence and decision-making Children choose what they want to do Builds confidence in making decisions Helps them learn to manage their own time ? 2. Social skills and friendships Encourages children to mix with different groups Improves sharing, turn-taking, and teamwork Helps quieter children join in at their own pace ? 3. Creativity and imagination Craft activities like bracelet making, drawing, and building develop creativity Encourages children to express their ideas in different ways Supports problem-solving and thinking skills ?‍♂️ 4.
