A summary

Jump into Half Term with Active Tees Valley’s Holiday Boxing Camps! Give teenagers two hours of high-energy fun that builds fitness, confidence, and focus. Our age-tailored sessions blend boxing basics with playful challenges—keeping minds sharp and bodies moving all break long. • Kid-friendly coaching: Colourful targets, superhero cues, and skill stations translate boxing fundamentals into engaging games for both primary and secondary groups. • Smart pacing: Short bursts of high-intensity activity alternate with mindful recovery, so everyone stays safe, attentive, and eager for more. • Confidence on tap: Constant positive feedback, end-session stickers, and team shout-outs celebrate effort, progress, and good sportsmanship. Purpose & Key Elements: Registration & Kit Check - Welcome, hand-wrap demo, quick safety brief; ensures every child is correctly kitted and relaxed. Skills Circuit - Fun, game-based drills teaching stance, guard, footwork and basic straight punches. Stations rotate frequently to keep energy and attention high. Refuel & Reset Break - Hydration break, breathing exercises and light stretching while coaches highlight positive effort spotted in the first block. Bag & Pad Work - Blast pairs alternate between heavy bags and focus pads, applying earlier skills to combinations. Emphasis on control, respect and counting reps aloud to build teamwork and numeracy. Farewell Healthy packed-lunch hand-off - Sticker-chart rewards, recap of take-home practice tasks; parents collect at the door.
