A Day in the Life of Summer Club

### A Typical Day at Bonterre Summer Club Our Summer Club runs from **9:30am to 3:00pm** each day. Children will enjoy a healthy seasonal lunch along with morning and afternoon snacks, with opportunities to try fresh produce grown here on the farm wherever possible. We begin each day by gathering together to learn about the farm, nature, wildlife, and the great outdoors. Children will have the opportunity to meet and care for our animals, discover how food is grown, and explore the natural environment around them. After a morning snack and break, we move on to our adventure activities. These may include den building, fire lighting, woodland exploration, animal care, woodworking, bushcraft skills, gardening, scavenger hunts, nature crafts, bug hunts, outdoor cooking, team challenges, and much more. Following a nutritious lunch, it's time for our famous "Silly Sports" sessions! Activities might include football, rounders, obstacle courses, capture the flag, relay races, tug of war, water games, sack races, wheelbarrow races, treasure hunts, dodgeball, egg-and-spoon races, giant team challenges, parachute games, and plenty of laughter-filled competitions designed to get everyone active and having fun. For those who need a quieter moment, there will always be a range of creative activities available throughout the day. Children can take part in arts and crafts, painting, nature-based creations, model making, jewellery making, weaving, colouring, and other hands-on projects while relaxing with friends. Every day at Bonterre is designed to build confidence, encourage curiosity, develop new skills, and create lasting summer memories through adventure, friendship, nature, and fun.
