FREE Filmmaking Workshops for Young People Come and join us for our filmmaking workshops where young people can learn filmmaking skills from professional filmmakers! In the workshops, young people will explore filmmaking through movie trailers, music videos, and animations, using professional equipment in a fun and supportive environment. All skill levels welcome — perfect for beginners and aspiring filmmakers alike. Key details: • Suitable for ages 8 – 16 years • Maximum of 15 places available per workshop • Each workshop the participants create something different, so they are welcome to attend as many or little workshops as preferred • Ideal for anyone interested in acting, editing, camera skills, team work, or just giving filmmaking a try • You do not have to appear on camera if you don’t want to — there are plenty of behind-the-scenes roles! What you’ll do (general guide): • Each day begins with some exercise, fun and games to boost energy and creativity • A typical 4-day programme includes: o Day 1: Movie Trailers o Day 2: Music Videos o Day 3: Animations o Day 4: Project of choice & family screening Schedule: • 10am – 2pm, with a lunch break What to bring: • Lunch provided (please share dietary needs in advance) • Refillable drinks bottle • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and weather Come along, be creative, and discover how films are made!
