BLACKSMITHING CLASSES
With Simon Summers Heritage Blacksmith

Learn the ancient art of blacksmithing
Join expert and highly trained smith Simon to explore the alchemy of this craft.
With guidance, you will learn hammer skills, forge hearth management plus correct hand tool usage.

You will learn the principles of forge-work and over sessions create practical, functional and decorative objects to take home.

MONITORED LEARNING AND PROGRESS FEEDBACK
Simple to advanced level tasks, techniques and projects upon the anvil.
Simon will structure the classes based on learning abilities and individual assessment.

FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 7 YEARS OLD (ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN)

• TWO STUDENTS MINIMUM PER CLASS

Tickets are ONE place in a 2hr class for a minimum of 2 people.
Please register your interest in which ever date(s) you'd like to book.
You may have to wait for another student to also register for this class.
Alternatively you can book a 1 - 1 class through our other listing.

>>>COSTS:
£196 + BF for 2 students (You will see an option for 1 ticket but be assured this is for 2 people. Please pay together for the class and then send us the name, age and any necessary details of the second student to us.

I.E. - £98 + BF per person for 2 - 1 tuition - Duration 2hrs (double class)

To pair up you must either book 2 people for a double class or register to be paired up with another person. (Register your interest with your details to be put on a waiting list)

Price includes steel/materials, charcoal and a cuppa

Options to book 1 class or more for scheduled classes

If you are a low-income family please register your interest to apply for a sponsorship. Once qualified, you will be offered a class in order of rotation from a waiting list of other qualified members.
Please note: qualified places will only be offered based on significant secured funds being available to us unless an individual has been named by the sponsor to attend a class.
~ CHILDREN MUST BE 7 YEARS OLD OR OVER AND ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN FOR THE DURATION OF THE CLASS. ~
