Black History Month Celebration: Honoring Our Heritage, Inspiring Our Future Join us as we celebrate Black History Month a vibrant community event recognising the achievements, culture, and contributions of Black people across history and within our community today. The event will feature music, poetry, storytelling, art exhibitions, and inspirational talks, alongside food and performances that showcase the richness of African and Caribbean heritage. This celebration is open to everyone and aims to educate, empower, and unite residents through shared history, creativity, and conversation. Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire a more inclusive future for all.

Support, Love and Promote
Sphere Support CIC is a Community Interest Company in the London Borough of Newham. We support individual with various needs ranging from, Low income, Homelessness, women/girl been victims of domestic abuse, Refugee or Migrant without access to public funds. We aim to empower people to reach their full potential through offering education, gender equality, sign posting and a wide range of positive activities. Currently we work across few different projects, including weekly Food club, weekly Parent Support club, youth program, warm space, Community Fridge and Children Holiday club.

Increase Awareness and Understanding To deepen participants’ knowledge of Black history, heritage, and culture — locally, nationally, and globally.
Aim 3
Celebrate Contributions and Achievements Highlight the significant social, cultural, and economic contributions of Black individuals and communities throughout history.
Aim 5
Foster Community Connection To bring together residents of all backgrounds to celebrate diversity, build unity, and strengthen cultural awareness across generations.
Aim 2
To provide opportunities for learning through art, storytelling, poetry, and music, allowing participants to express themselves and connect with history in creative ways.
Aim 4
Promote Inclusion and Equality To encourage dialogue about racial equality, representation, and shared community values that promote respect and understanding.
Aim 6
To motivate participants, especially young people, to take pride in their identity, develop confidence, and pursue positive personal and educational goals.
