A summary
The Big Condo Academy is a community media campus and skills centre focused on music, media, and the fashion industry. We are a non-profit community interest company (CIC) that focuses on real-life training and employability skills for use in the current industry. The Academy’s aim is to build skills and confidence in our learners through team building exercises and group projects. We offer all projects in media, music and fashion. We also offer classes which include podcasting, music recording /production, video production, creative writing, fashion, photography, modelling, artist development and artistic projects that benefit our community including film. The Academy also offers internships, and volunteer roles on campus as well.
The Big Condo Academy will be open to children and young people aged between 12 and 16 years old during the holidays.
Children and young people will receive breakfast and lunch providing that they are on benefit related free school meals. What to expect? Podcasting, Film Making, Foley, ADR and sound recording, radio production, music, guitar, uke, drum classes, music production, fashion design, modeling, singing lessons, poetry and acting and so much more.
