About your mentor
Bestwood Park Nursery and Out of School Club
Play, learn, and make new friends
Our Afterschool club is based in the heart of Bestwood Park, dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children aged 5–11. At our club, we believe in the power of child-led play, allowing each child to explore their interests, express their creativity, and develop new skills at their own pace. Our mix of activities—including arts and crafts, games, sports, and imaginative play—ensures there’s something for every child. We focus on creating a space where children can relax after a busy school day, have fun, and form lasting friendships. Teamwork, confidence, and curiosity are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to make every session engaging, inspiring, and full of laughter. By fostering independence, creativity, and social skills, we aim to support your child’s growth in a positive and enjoyable way. Whether they love being active, exploring new hobbies, or simply spending time with friends, our club is the perfect place for children to learn, play, and thrive.
Club rules
Please dress your child weather appropriate. We may be venturing out into the community for some of our planned activities so it is important that the children arrive with comfortable shoes and a coat. No mobile phones to be brought to the sessions for safeguarding purposes.
