What we'll do
Children will enjoy a mix of sports and physical activities, including football, basketball, dodgeball, and cricket, while also taking part in skill-building games that promote teamwork, coordination, self-belief, confidence, and independence. Through engaging enrichment activities, participants will gain valuable experiences that enhance self-esteem and encourage leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills—preparing them for future challenges. In addition, we provide a dedicated sensory and calming space to support children who may become dysregulated or overwhelmed. This carefully designed area offers a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel grounded and regain emotional balance. The space includes a variety of sensory toys, textured sensory tiles for movement and exploration, as well as colouring and craft activities to promote relaxation and self-expression. This holistic approach ensures every child feels supported, understood, and ready to re-engage positively in activities.

Every child healthy, happy & active for life.
Try new sports, develop skills whilst making new friends and having fun in a safe and relaxed environment! Open to children aged between 4 and 12 years old, everyday is jam packed with opportunity for children to improve their skills and knowledge in many different sports, games and physical activities, all in a friendly and safe environment. Our Sports Holiday Clubs promote healthy lifestyle choices and will improve children’s skills and knowledge of many different sports and activities. Our Venue Coordinators plan varied carousels of activities and sports to complement our programme of feature days, based on the weather, facilities, ages, ability and preferences of the group. Children also have the option to choose which sports they will take part in during our popular “children’s choice” sessions. Children should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring plenty to drink. All Bee Active coaches are fully insured, DBS checked, trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding children.

" Hello, my name is Jozsef, Holiday Club VC for OSSMA! I have completed a Level 2 qualification as a recreation assistant at Northwood Stadium and have gained lots of experience being there. My role there was varied and saw me running reception and handling some admin tasks, but the best bit by far was coaching the children, which is why I have decided to continue my professional development in coaching. At home I’m a complete family guy, being the oldest of 6 children means I have had plenty of experience taking care of little ones, it’s like having my own little team at home! I love all sports and will try my hand at anything you can name which is why I’m super excited to have joined the Bee Active family I work in a SEND school and i we do PE from EYFS all the way to college kids where we have loads of fun and learn new skills".

" Hi everyone my name is Scott, I am a dedicated and passionate sports coach with a Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching and Development, as well as a Level 2 Rugby Coaching badge. I have a deep love for rugby, both playing and coaching, and I enjoy helping others develop their skills in the sport. I currently work at Abbey Hill School, where I focus on encouraging students to engage in physical activity and teamwork, and I also coach at Newcastle School Holiday Club. My goal is to inspire young athletes to stay active, build confidence, and reach their full potential in sports".
