Become United Is A Charity, Led By Black Minority Ethnic (BME) People
Become United is a charity, led by Black Minority Ethnic (BME) people. Our advisory team members have a broad range of skills, experience and knowledge gained from working with the South Asian and BME communities across Greater Manchester for over 20 years.
The principal objective of Become United shall be to create a structurally safe place for all people. The organisation is committed to equality and has a focus on the inclusion and rights of people from different backgrounds and ethnicities.

Become United Shall Pursue This Objective By:
The provision of welfare and cultural support to members and service users.
The provision of social and recreational activities for its beneficiaries and service users.
Working with partner organisation to challenge any form of oppression which intersect with race, including but not limited to ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender and class.
To act as a Greater Manchester by providing advice and assistance, and organising programmes of physical and educational benefit
After realising the lack of BAMER individuals in leadership positions, the founding trustees realised the need for an organisation to empower individuals from BAMER backgrounds to realise their potential. We have met some wonderful individuals on this journey and hope to unlock the potential of many others on the way.
