Barnwell Multi-Activity Holiday Club block mentored by SportWorks

A summary

Our HAF camps provide children with a full day of engaging, structured activities during the school holidays. Each day includes: Sports & Games – football, basketball, rounders, and team challenges to build fitness and teamwork. Creative Workshops – arts, crafts, and music to spark imagination and self-expression. STEM & Problem-Solving – hands-on projects such as puzzles, building challenges, and experiments. Outdoor Adventures – outdoor spaces, scavenger hunts, and group challenges to encourage exploration. Nutritious Meals – a healthy, freshly prepared lunch is provided every day. Camps run from 10:00am - 2:00pm, giving children a safe, structured, and stimulating environment throughout the day. We are an inclusive provider – children of all abilities and backgrounds are welcomed and supported to take part fully. Our trained staff ensure every child is encouraged to try new activities and feel part of the group. These camps are free for children eligible for free school meals and combine enrichment activities with healthy food.

SportWorks is an award winning social enterprise which, in 2023, supported over 32,000 individuals aged between 7 and 102 years, to improve health, gain qualifications and move into sustainable employment or further training. Our team passionately believes in the power sport has to effect positive social change, and in its ability to enrich the lives of individuals and entire communities.

Hi I’m Chloe and I’m passionate about lots of sports and being generally active! My background is primarily as a ski instructor and coach but I’m also a competitive triathlete and played netball in secondary school! I love sharing my passion for sports and helping young people stay active!

I’m an ambitious Teaching Assistant with a background in nutrition and a passion for helping children learn and grow. I love creating supportive, engaging environments where kids can build confidence, develop healthy habits, and enjoy discovering new things

I am Georgia, a sports coach. I am a primary school teacher and play championship level rugby. I love coaching in my spare time and specialise in adaptive teaching and fostering new relationships!

I work with ages from 4 - 18 in schools and holiday sports camps. My favourite sport is Football and the team I support is Tottenham Hotspur. I enjoy playing and watching Darts aswell.

Suitable For

This club is suitable for children who do not need specialist SEND support. If you are unsure of whether your child will have their needs met in an activity setting with a staff ratio of one staff to eight children, please speak to us before you attend. This wonderful club is fully funded for children who receive benefit-related free school meals

Our Staff

All activities are led by experienced, trained staff who are passionate about creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children. Our team includes: Qualified activity leaders with backgrounds in sports, arts, and education. Trained safeguarding and first aid staff on site at all times. Inclusive practitioners who are experienced in supporting children with a wide range of needs, including SEND. Positive role models who encourage teamwork, confidence, and respect. Every staff member is DBS checked, receives regular training, and works together to make sure every child feels welcome, supported, and able to get the most out of camp.
