⚽ Banbury United Easter Football Camps are action-packed holiday sessions where children spend the day on the pitch learning real football skills with qualified coaches from Banbury United.
From the moment they arrive, children are welcomed, signed in and placed into age-appropriate groups. The day starts with fun warm-up games like tag-based dribbling challenges and quick passing races to get everyone moving and smiling.
Throughout the day, they’ll take part in specific skill sessions such as:
1v1 attacking and defending drills
Shooting practice with target corners and crossbar challenges
Small-sided matches (3v3 and 5v5)
Penalty shootout competitions
Team mini-tournaments with bibs and scoreboards
There are structured breaks for snacks and lunch, with time to relax, chat and make new friends. Coaches focus on encouragement, teamwork and building confidence — whether your child is new to football or already plays for a team.
Each day ends with match play and a fun competition final, with small prizes or “Player of the Day” awards to celebrate effort and attitude.
By the time you pick them up, they’ll be happily tired, muddy in the best way, and already asking to come back the next day. ?
