About your mentor
Acronym Community Empowerment (ACE)
"In unity there is strength'
We work to support disadvantaged women, children, and young adults by delivering creative education and training programmes. Our activities promote social inclusion, bringing people together from diverse backgounds, cultures, talents, skills, and creativity and help them gain new skills and access to employment, education, and training to help them grow. This means believing in the power of unity between people and recognising that in unity there is strength and everyone has the skill to share and to contribute.
Why Get Involved?
We will provide all the training and support you need to thrive and be a Health Champion in your community. • Give Back: See the direct impact of your time on your neighbors' well-being. • Gain Skills: Build experience in community health, communication, and caregiving. • Connect: Meet passionate, like-minded locals who care about community health. Launch activities will be held during the summer from July 2026 at Granby Winter Garden, 37-39 Cairns Street, Liverpool L8 2UW, and at the African Caribbean Centre, 1 Amberley St, Liverpool L8 1YJ Training programmes will run in 4 - 6 weekly blocks starting in September.
