Community Director
Richard has worked in Southwark and the surrounding communities for over 25 years. He believes sport is a powerful way to build confidence, connection and belonging. At Ballers Academy, Richard leads our free community programmes that support children, young people, adults and older residents to stay active and feel valued. He is especially committed to including those who are often overlooked. His work has been recognised locally and nationally, including awards from the BBC London Radio and London Sport. But for Richard, the real reward is seeing people grow, smile and feel part of something positive. Richard’s approach is simple: everyone should have the same chance to be active, stay healthy and feel included.
Jack Sammoutis
Academy Coach
Jack is a former professional footballer who played for Millwall FC, AC Omonia, and represented Cyprus internationally. His passion for coaching and elite playing experience allow him to mentor players of all abilities with insight and care.
Charlie Pearce
Academy Coach
Charlie is a UEFA B-licensed coach who has been a core part of Ballers for over 13 years. He leads youth and adult disability programmes, and as Safeguarding & Welfare Officer, ensures a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.
