About your mentor
Back In The Game CIC
Breaking Down Barriers With Football
Back in the Game CIC uses football to involve individuals and groups in the community who have barriers that are preventing them from moving forward. We love helping young people to move forward and make friends and believe that there's on better way of doing it than through football.
Useful Information
1. Your day runs from 10:00am until 2:00pm 2. Activities are indoors to weatherproof them 3. We aim for you to take lunch at 12:00pm but occasionally this can change slightly if the centre has other activities booked in. 4. On some days we may introduce you to Futsal which is a version of football that emphasises technique and creativity.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Players will have an understanding of basic football skills including dribbling, turning, passing, shooting, defending and playing in a team.
Aim 2
Players will understand the values of respect, caring, honesty, fairness, and responsibility.
