We will be spending the day at Ashworth Valley campsite located in Rochdales Ashworth Valley
The site consists of 68 acres of gently sloping grassland, a wonderful backwoods area, two accommodation huts, lots of built in activities and a wonderful play area.
The site is enclosed and private with its own private beck running through it.
We will have a packed out day full of forest school fun.
-Traditional outdoor forest school games
-Bushcraft skills
-Traditional fire circle, where children will help me make a fire and learn the skills of fire making .
-Cooking on the fire, lets make some campfire snacks.
-We will have access to our own private woods where we will play games and make our shelter and hammock.
- Autumn art and crafts and some survival skills.
- Grass sledging on a big hill
-Lets set up a tent to take shelter and play in.
-Nature trail around the area
The site has its own toilets.
Meet up time is 10:00 am and pick up will be 2:30pm
Although snacks will be provided, all children need to bring a packed lunch.

I am a primary school teacher who works across year groups. A qualified forest school leader and a scout leader for 10-14 year olds. I have experience in leading walks for all age groups. I am an outdoor and camping enthusiast who enjoys organising walks and anything involving the outdoors. -First aid trained -update service full enhanced dbs Over 8 +years experience with children -vast experience in working with special needs children
