A summary
Join me after school at Buchan Country Park for new art activities every week.
On arrival I can offer you herbal teas, hot chocolate or juice, and while we wait for everyone to arrive, we can try to identify the different birds and squirrels (and sometimes foxes!) outside, from the sofas in the community centre.
For the first block of sessions we will try printmaking, clay modelling, botanical illustration, and paper marbling using shaving foam!
At the end of our session we will have a bridge building competition using spaghetti and marshmallows!
Parents are welcome to join in, or just drop off (the park makes a wonderful dog walk while you wait).

Hi! My name is Daze, I have been studying art formally for the last five years, and have recently started my own business as a face painter alongside my work as a freelance illustrator. I have previously run printmaking sessions across many schools in Sussex as an ambassador for The University For The Creative Arts, and paper craft activities for local children in care as a volunteer. My personal favourite subjects for art are monsters, myths and insects, and I love to talk about how the Loch Ness Monster hides so well. Outside of my art, all my free hours are spent with my border collie puppy; Fable, who can sing, dance and is just about to start learning agility.
