A summary
This session is for Young people aged 12 - 16 years, who live in Milton Keynes and have a finalised EHCP.
✨Whilst this workshop is not suitable for those who require one-to-one support, we’re delighted to be running Nutri Troops Animation Workshop, specially created for SEN students aged 12–16.
✨This carefully designed session creates a calm, supportive and creative environment where young people with a range of special educational needs can feel safe, understood and encouraged to express themselves. While the workshop is not suitable for those requiring one-to-one support, it is thoughtfully structured to meet a variety of needs, with a gentle pace and clear guidance throughout.
✨Led by an experienced SEND teacher, participants will be supported step-by-step to create their own animations and comic books, inspired by the colourful world of Nutri Troops. Activities focus on visual and hands-on learning, including drawing, storyboarding and character design, helping young people build confidence in a way that feels accessible and enjoyable.
✨To make the experience even more special, young people will also work with Peter Bakare, Team GB 2012 Olympian and creator of Nutri Troops. His positive energy and relatable journey help inspire confidence, creativity and a sense of achievement, while encouraging teamwork and self-belief.
