A summary

Children have the opportunity to interact with a variety of small animals and mammals, learning about their characteristics, habitats, and care needs. They will explore the animals through observation and gentle handling, helping to develop their confidence, curiosity, and respect for living creatures. Following the experience, the children can create a craft of their favourite animal, using a range of materials to express their creativity. This activity encouraged imaginative thinking, fine motor skill development, and discussion about the animals they had learned about.
