About your mentor
Central Hartlepool Group Mission Project
Bringing hope and support to communities
Bringing hope, practical help and spiritual growth to the people of Hartlepool. Walking alongside families, as well as people experiencing hardship and homelessness in our community. Supporting people to overcome life limiting issues.
Our experience and why the theme of the ancient warriors and saints of the North?
We have several years experience of running HAF clubs working out of St. Matthew's Hall and St Luke's Church. We have decided to provide our HAF this year in the Rift House Estate area. St Columba's is excellent as a community centre. We have chosen the theme of ancient warriors and saints of the North because it is such a rich topic to explore and have so much fun with. Hartlepool has had Vikings, Scots and St Hilda, all conquering in different ways. Why not celebrate our Hartlepool and its earliest times.
Learning aims
Aim 1
We will be encouraging awareness of healthy eating.
Aim 2
To explore in a fun and age appropriate way some of the turbulent history of early Hartlepool through the eyes of the early warriors and saints.
