After school Forest School club

The Willows Horringer

A summary
An enriching outdoor (Forest School) after school club for 5-12 year olds.
Experience swinging from trees and using tools to create crafts.
Enjoy making a selection of foods and cooking them on the camp fire.
Engage with others to build dens and play games.
Plus more exciting outdoor activities.
An example:
The session begins with an introduction to our activities and boundary rules, through playing games (like duck duck goose) around the fire circle. We have three rules to ensure we have fun and remain safe (look after yourself, look after each other and look after the woodland).
The children then have the opportunity to light the fire or explore the activities on site. They may choose to use tools to create woodland crafts, ride the raft, pond dip, bug hunt or build a den with others.
The children are invited to make tea, while other staff support the children exploring the other activities available.
After enjoying our tea around the campfire, there is the option to play team games before collection time.
