A summary

We'll do the activities listed below with a break for lunch:

Monday 26 - Skiing and Low Ropes Course

Tuesday 27 - Archery and Kayaking in our indoor heated pool

Wednesday 28 - Bushcraft and Rock Scrambling at Harrisons Rocks

Thursday 29 - Snowboarding and Rock Climbing

We will go sledging every day after lunch so please make sure you have long sleeves and trousers and bring gloves with you.

Dress for the weather and wear trainers - no flip flops or Crocs please. October means a waterproof coat and some warm layers, normally.

On skiing and snowboarding days you'll need long sleeves and trousers as well as gloves. Pool activities need normal swimming gear and a towel.

We'll provide a cooked lunch every day.

Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for both targeted and expanded free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the Crisis Resilience Fund. Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

Things they'll need

We will be outside all day every day in all weathers. Please bring suitable clothes and waterproofs. Long trousers, long sleeves and gloves are important to take part in some activities.

We will provide lunch, but you'll need to bring a water bottle with you.

We plan to go sledging on our dry slopes every day so children will need to bring gloves, long sleeves and trousers every day. The same things are needed for skiing and snowboarding.

Suitable for

These activity days are suitable for children in Years 4, 5 and 6.
While our instructors are experienced at working with a wide range of children, our activities aren't suitable for some children with SEND.
