Active Youth MULTISPORTS & WELLBEING Friday Night Multisport & Wellbeing – for Ages 8–16! Looking for an exciting way for your child to stay active, make friends, and burn off energy after a busy week? Join us every Friday night during term time for our Multisport sessions, specially designed for children aged 8 to 16 years! Held inside our sports hall (multi sports) and dance studio (wellbeing), each multi sport session is packed with a variety of fun, high-energy games and sports – perfect for kids who love being active and trying something new. From football and tag games to dodgeball, relay races, and team challenges, there’s something for everyone – no matter their ability or experience. Participants can join Jess from Your Well-being company every Friday for our Well-being warriors activity session. In these fun, nurturing sessions, children explore low-level mental health topics through age appropriate chats, mindful movement, creativity and art and engaging games that build confidence and emotional awareness. Each week offers a safe, supportive space for children to express themselves, learn simple wellbeing tools and connect with others. When: Every Friday night Time: 17:30-19:30 Where: Indoor sports hall and dance studio at Active Oxford Park Who Can Attend? Children aged 8–1 6– beginners and sporty kids alike! Cost: FREE All activities are supervised by trained staff Parents/guardians may be asked to sign in children at the start of the session First aid trained staff are on-site Get active, get involved, and get ready for fun every Friday night! Whether your child loves sports or just wants to try something new with friends, our Multisport Fridays are the perfect way to end the school week on a high!

I have worked for Active Tameside for nearly 20 years now and worked in various roles including bikeability instructor, sports coach, sports development officer and now Head of Active Education. I enjoy working closely with local primary schools providing high quality PE & School Sport and providing pathways for children to take part in sport. Hobbies include long distance running for East Cheshire Harriers and season ticket holder at Manchester United!
