Active Stars Holiday Club - Uckfield

Join us for a fun-filled Holiday Club where adventure awaits! Our club is designed for children ages 4-11 and promises excitement, creativity, and friendship.

Our talented leaders will guide children through themed days, exploring everything from nature and science to arts and cultures. Every child will have the chance to make new friends, learn new skills, and create wonderful memories. Previous themed days have included Harry Potter, Africa, On the beach, Dinosaurs and many more. Each day includes a sport activity (bench ball, football, dodgeball, gymnastics etc) and art/DT (marbling, pointillism, brusho, bridge building, boat making, parachute challenges) There really is an activity to suit everyone!

***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Children we care for. Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

We will be updating our timetable in the coming weeks with details of the key events we will be offering at Active Stars. We're just finalising our special star days but are hoping to have a reptile show, inflatable obstacle courses, a water/swimming day, silent disco and much more!

Each day's activities are based around a different theme. Some are matched to the season: Easter, Halloween, Christmas etc, whilst others include a mix of themes based around sporting events, countries, cultures, animals, season and many more.

Each day includes a sports session and an art/crafts session. Additional sessions include a mixture of science, DT or cooking as well as free play and games.

During the longer holidays, we also offer 'Star Days'. On these special days, we offer extra activities, which have included a reptile workshop, giant inflatables, dance work shops and both a magic show and circus skills workshop. Keep your eyes peeled for our 'Star Days'!

Please ensure your child is wearing appropriate footwear to take part in sports and games in a sports hall. We may go outside at break and lunchtime so please ensure your child brings a coat, hat, gloves with them. For our themed days, children are more than welcome to come wearing a costume if they wish but please be aware that whilst we provide aprons to protect clothes during art activities, some paint/glue etc may still get on to the children's clothing.
Your child will need to bring a named water bottle. If your child does not wish to have the cooked meal provided, please send them in with a packed lunch and their own snack.
