Active Sports Camp

Delivered by Sporting Steps, our Multi-Sports Camp provides a fun, engaging and active environment where children aged 5–11 can enjoy a wide range of sporting and enriching activities in a safe, inclusive setting.

Designed for children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM), the camp aims to promote physical activity, wellbeing and new experiences. Each day offers a varied programme delivered on a rotation basis, ensuring children remain active, motivated and excited to take part. Activities include:

Striking and fielding games (softball cricket, rounders)

Invasion games (football, tag rugby, capture the flag)

Net and wall activities (short tennis)

Tri-Golf

Team-building challenges

Student-requested activities, giving children a voice in their camp experience

We understand that every child is different. Whether a child wants a high-energy, sport-filled day or prefers to balance activity with quieter enrichment opportunities, our camp is designed to cater for all needs in a pressure-free and fully inclusive environment.

All sessions are delivered by our high-quality coaching team, made up of experienced professionals from the education sector. Our staff combine strong behaviour management, child development knowledge and engaging coaching techniques to ensure every child feels supported, valued and encouraged. We pride ourselves on delivering structured, purposeful sessions that build confidence, teamwork and resilience — while keeping fun at the heart of everything we do.
