A summary
Come and join in the fun at our brand-new little athlete’s session. Children will learn basic athletics movements including running, jumping, and throwing through game-based activities. This is the starting point for children to run as fast as they can, jump as far as they can and throw as far as they can! Children will develop athletic skills as well building cognitive and social skills in a friendly fun environment. Parents or guardians are required to stay on site for public sessions.

I have worked for Active Tameside for nearly 20 years now and worked in various roles including bikeability instructor, sports coach, sports development officer and now Head of Active Education. I enjoy working closely with local primary schools providing high quality PE & School Sport and providing pathways for children to take part in sport. Hobbies include long distance running for East Cheshire Harriers and season ticket holder at Manchester United!

Hello, I am Hayley I am a senior sports coach. I currently work within primary schools delivering physical education and support with the development of our community and holiday camp provision. Outside of work I enjoy running and compete most weekends. I am the coaching coordinator at East Cheshire Harriers & Tameside A.C, as well as coach to the under 11's.
