A summary
Join Active Hastings for a fun, friendly, community-focused youth football tournament! Players will be placed into mixed-age teams on the day, ensuring plenty of opportunities to play, meet new people, and enjoy the game in an inclusive and supportive environment. The tournament will be played in a league format, maximising game time for all teams and giving everyone the chance to get involved. Open to young people aged 13–17. All abilities are welcome. Registration deadline: Wednesday 19 August 2026. Children should not leave the session without letting a member of the Active Hastings team know. Active Hastings cannot take responsibility for any young people once they leave the venue Quick reminder: If your plans have changed and you can no longer make it, please cancel your booking. Physical activity sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is an externally funded partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week for adults and 60 minutes every day for children to benefit your health, both mental and physical. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches, fitness instructors and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.
