What we'll do
Easter Active Camp 2026 will offer a range of 'free play' fun, active, stimulating activities.  The children will have take part in a STEM CHallenge where they will take part in a number of challenges designed to allow them to build confidence, engagement, and resilience, and demonstrating to children how subjects connect to real-world applications and future opportunities, from tech to healthcare etc. Nerf Battle Party: They will work in teams and demonstrate effective communication and listening skills, organisational skills etc. Children who are neurodiverse will have the opportunity to take part wearing ear defenders and/or can choose an alternative activity.  We will provide a range of physical activities including benchball, dodgeball, football, parachute games, circuits etc. We will offer mindfulness sessions through guided meditation and yoga. We will offer board games and group games to encourage children to socialise with their peers and to develop their social skills. Construction activities will be available e.g. lego, knex, magnetix etc. Weather permitting we will utilise outdoor space for games and sports or a nature walk. Children will receive food information and nutrition information through discussions and delivery of informal workshops in the play sessions, for example through food tasting, games and quizes. Staff will be available if parents have any issues or concerns and they will be signposted for specialist support.
