What we'll do
Get ready for an exciting adventure to Delamere Forest! Join us for a fun filled day trip where you can explore the beautiful woodland, enjoy time in nature and play lots of exciting ball games with friends. There will be plenty of time for a tasty picnic, laughter and outdoor fun in the fresh air. Opportunities to spot wildlife, climb, run and discover new places as we wander through the forest together. The perfect activity for children who love to play, discover and stay active. We look forward to seeing you there! Transport offered from a central location: The Brooke Centre, Stanier Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 2SU Drop off time: 10am Collection time: 3pm **This is a drop off and collection activity (i.e. SEND children only, no parents or siblings)**

Young Persons Support Worker
Hello I’m Will, a casual young persons support worker at Action for Children, I have been working here for 2 years. When I was younger I attended Action for Children activities myself, it was a good experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. My intention is for the young people to have the same experience I had. You will usually find me at Our Space throughout the week and the occasional Saturday mornings, ensuring everybody on the sessions are safe and happy, but most importantly leave the session with a smile on their face.

Hi I’m Molly, a casual young persons support worker at Action for Children. I have been in this role for five years alongside my studies. You’ll usually find me at our weekend activities, delivering sessions that are shaped around each young person. My aim is to make sure every child feels happy, safe and able to enjoy their time with us at Action for Children.

Hi I’m Morgan, a casual young persons support worker, working for action for children to support my studies. I often attend sessions during school holidays and university breaks. I am passionate in ensuring children have a safe childhood and are exposed to a world that supports them and their happiness.

Life Skills and Independence Practitioner
I mainly support with life skills and independence, helping children to gain confidence and learn new skills. You will also see me at Stoke and Staffordshire activities, I help out at afterschool groups and Staffordshire day trips.

You will find me at afterschool sessions, day trips and family sessions helping children to dream big and aim high. Come along and join us for our sessions!
