A summary
Our 4 Day Teen Glow Up is designed for young people aged 12-16 who want to build confidence, learn new practical skills and try something new in a supportive and welcoming environment. Across four structured days, students take part in hands-on sessions, with each day focusing on a different area: • Day 1 - Create a Look & Nails: Learn basic manicure techniques, nail care and polish application before creating a coordinated beauty look. • Day 2 - Skincare & Makeup: Discover simple skincare routines, understand different skin types and create a natural makeup look using professional techniques. • Day 3 - Hair: Explore basic hair styling techniques, presentation skills and creative ways to style hair. • Day 4 - Total Look: Bring everything together by creating a complete hair, makeup and nail look, ready for a final photo opportunity and celebration of achievements. Each day builds confidence step by step while developing practical, industry-inspired skills in a fun environment. Students who attend all four days will receive a Teen Glow Up Participation Certificate recognising the skills and commitment shown throughout the week.

The Norwich School of Hair & Beauty (NSHB) is an independent training school based in Norwich, offering courses in Hair, Beauty, Holistic and Sports Massage. Founded in 2009, the school has grown into a welcoming and supportive environment where confidence is built alongside practical, industry-ready skills. We work with school ages 7-16, adults and apprentices, creating real career opportunities while helping every learner believe in their ability and reach their potential.
What's included
Each day runs from 10:00am - 2:30pm in a safe and supportive training environment. All equipment and materials are provided. Students will receive a free hot lunch, fresh fruit kebab snacks, plus juice and water each day. There is also an hour of physical activity daily to keep energy levels high and promote healthy habits.
Learning aims
Aim 1
To build confidence in basic manicure, skincare, makeup and hair skills in a fun, supportive and practical environment.
Aim 2
To understand simple hygiene and safe working practices when using beauty tools and products correctly.
Aim 3
To grow confidence, teamwork and communication skills through creative activities and daily upbeat sessions.
