A summary

Your child(ren) will have the opportunity to learn both parkour and breakdancing in a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment. We focus on helping children build confidence, develop new skills, take safe risks, and challenge themselves in a positive way.

No previous experience is required – everyone is welcome!

The day will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

There will be a short break in both the morning and afternoon, as well as a longer break for lunch. A packed lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided each day. Drinking water will also be available throughout the day for children to refill their bottles as needed.

We recommend that children wear loose, comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity. The building can become quite warm as the day progresses. Due to the nature of the equipment and activities, participants will spend much of the day barefoot; however, gripped socks will be provided for all children.

To ensure everyone gets the most from the activities, participants will be divided into smaller groups based on age and ability. These groups will rotate throughout the day, allowing all children to experience the full range of equipment and activities.

We will be taking photographs and video recordings throughout the three days to help celebrate and promote the project. If you would prefer your child not to appear in any photographs or recordings, please let us know in advance.
