NO LIMITS – Young Leadership & Coaching Programme
Learn Skills. Build Confidence. Gain Experience.
The No Limits Programme is an exciting one-day leadership and coaching experience designed for young people aged 12–16 years who are interested in sport, coaching and developing new skills.
Delivered by Active Sport, the programme combines practical coaching education with real experience supporting younger children at an Active Sport holiday camp.
Participants will spend 50% of the day learning essential coaching and leadership skills and 50% gaining hands-on experience, putting their new knowledge into practice alongside experienced coaches.
Who Can Attend?
- Young people aged 12–16 years
- Eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM) or Universal FSM
- Warrington residents
Morning – Coaching & Leadership Training (50%)
Participants will take part in interactive workshops and practical activities covering:
- What makes a great coach and leader?
- Communication, teamwork and confidence
- Planning fun and engaging sports activities
- Understanding different age groups and abilities
- Adapting activities to promote inclusion
- Behaviour management and supporting younger children
- Creating and delivering mini coaching activities
Afternoon – Practical Holiday Camp Experience (50%)
Participants will join an Active Sport holiday camp, working alongside experienced coaches to put their new skills into practice.
Activities include:
- Supporting coaches with sports sessions and games
- Leading warm-ups and small group activities
- Helping organise equipment and activity stations
- Encouraging and supporting younger children
- Developing communication and leadership skills
- Receiving feedback from experienced coaches
Sports & Activities May Include
Football, Dodgeball, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Archery, Team Challenges, Leadership Games and Problem-Solving Activities.
