Learn the ancient art of blacksmithing
Join expert and highly trained smith Simon to explore the alchemy of this craft.
With guidance, you will learn hammer skills, forge hearth management plus correct hand tool usage.
You will learn the principles of forge-work and over sessions create practical, functional and decorative objects to take home.
MONITORED LEARNING AND PROGRESS FEEDBACK
Simple to advanced level tasks, techniques and projects upon the anvil.
Simon will structure the classes based on learning abilities and individual assessment.
FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 7 YEARS OLD (ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN)

To pair up you must either book 2 people for a double class or register to be paired up with another person. (Email us with your details to be put on a waiting list)

If you are a low-income family please register your interest to apply for a sponsorship. Once qualified, you will be offered a class in order of rotation from a waiting list of other qualified members.
Please note: qualified places will only be offered based on significant secured funds being available to us unless an individual has been named by the sponsor to attend a class.
