Turtle CYP (Previously South Glos Playscheme)

Turtle CYP was started in 1998. It was set up as a community organisation and has been known by different names over the years. In 2021, we became a registered charity. In 2024, we changed our name for the last time to Turtle CYP. The scheme started by running free playscheme's for children aged 5-11 in the school summer holidays only. Now we deliver in Patchway, Stoke Gifford/Little Stoke, Bradley Stoke, Yate and Kingswood. We have expanded our offer to include the Easter and Christmas school holidays for children, and we run whole family activity sessions across all school holidays. Since 2021, we have grown and we are pleased to say that we also now also provide the Cygnet Parenting Support Programme in South Gloucestershire and NOCN accredited Youth Work qualifications across South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, BANES and Somerset.
