Lilford Area Residents Association

Lilford Area Residents Association (LARA) is a recognised Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) based in the borough of Lambeth, South London. We are a grassroots, community-led group committed to representing the voices of local tenants and residents, while fostering a stronger and more connected neighbourhood. Our focus is on promoting community cohesion, inclusion, and wellbeing through activities, events, and projects that reflect the needs and interests of local people. We work closely with families, young people, and older residents to create opportunities for meaningful engagement, learning, and celebration. LARA is particularly known for its popular summer playschemes, family trips, and intergenerational events, which help build confidence, encourage creativity, and strengthen community bonds. Everything we do is guided by a deep belief in the power of local people coming together to shape a safer, more vibrant, and supportive place to live.
