Heartwood Co-op

Heartwood is a Waldorf-inspired home education group that meets for crafts, workshops and seasonally for festivals. The activities and togetherness are designed to inspire our families in our home education, create a sense of community, and nourish ourselves. At Heartwood, we work toward: • Preserving childhood • Infusing learning with artistic experiences & nature • Creating the experience before the explanation (hands-on learning) inspiring us all to make the world a better place Heartwood exists to provide group experiences for our children, including such activities as verses and songs, permaculture botany and land care, bean bag games, movement, main lesson book work, a group play, walking, seasonal crafts, painting, form drawing and handwork.
