A summary
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and the Arena Theatre present... Play In A Week! Back due to popular demand in 2023, our Play In A Week workshops have returned for 2024. You will work with two professional directors to create, devise and perform and play inside ONE WEEK at the Arena Theatre this summer holiday! Sessions will run from Monday 29th July - Friday 2nd August from 9.30am - 4.30pm A free nutritious lunch for every young person will be provided. There are reserved places for HAF code holders. Wolverhampton Grand is a long established theatre in the heart of the Midlands. It receives a wide range of major touring productions including drama, musicals, ballet, dance, opera, variety, concerts, children’s shows and one of the biggest pantomimes in the UK, with audiences from across the region and beyond taking advantage of excellent transport links to the city. The theatre has a dedicated Outreach programme focussing on Access and Creative Learning, with a variety of projects and initiatives to reach more people through the magic of theatre. In December this year, the Grand will celebrate it's 130th Anniversary.
