What we'll do
So here is what the young people can expect:  A fun yoga class with yoga based games and stories. At the start of each class I use picture cards to explain all the things we will do in that session so everyone knows what to expect. It doesn't matter if you have never done yoga before , no experience necessary! Come with an open mind ready to join in. We always finish class with some mindful meditation and learn some cool breathing techniques throughout.  What to bring: Just you. Mats are provided  What to wear:  Something comfortable that you can stretch in, sometimes you get a little warm, sometimes a little cold- layers work best. We usually practice bare foot to help you strengthen your feet and grip the mat more easily but this is not mandatory.  About me: I started yoga back in 2011 when I was told that the running, hockey and high intensity gym work meant that "If I didn't start stretching soon, I would have problems later in my life" I had always thought yoga was a waste of time- how little I knew back then! It literally changed my life and I decided to take a sabbatical from work and qualify as a teacher.  I qualified in Bikram hot yoga in 2012, Hatha yoga in 2013, pregnancy yoga in 2013. Before the pandemic closed the studio I used to work from I taught every Saturday plus a class during the week around my main job at Google. When I had my son in 2021, I knew I needed to learn how to teach Children's yoga and qualified in 2023 . I am also a Reiki healer and Thai massage therapist which has helped me understand more about the human body.  I hope that balancing a more conventional job around teaching yoga helps me empathise with students about the general pressures of life and keeps me in the real world!

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
