A summary
Arrive and meet the team in The Roundhouse. The day is full on as you tend to the animals daily needs. Catch a pony/donkey/goat or sheep, feed/water, groom and pamper and a tour of the farm. Others will prepare lunch and then it's off by foot or pony to the Brook for a spot of Duck Racing and a relaxing picnic in glorious countryside. Please bring a change of clothes and expect to get wet! Tuesday-Thursday: Parents/Carers will have the chance to stay and do a fun free Co-Op Cookery session in the Roundhouse.

Longlands Farm
Learning the natural way
Longlands is a 400 acre organic livestock farm on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire and is also the setting for the The Roundhouse, an alternative education provision for young people who struggle in mainstream education. In the school holidays we run our Longlands Animal and Pony HAF Activity programme offering young people the opportunity to spend a day on the farm caring and feeding the animals and enjoying the countryside.

The title says it all, animals and pony "fun" day. A daily picnic of things you like to eat and you may even get to help prepare the picnic.
